Minister for Health Jill Hennessy turns the sod on a new $21 million Melton Health and Community Services facility

Minister for Health Jill Hennessy today turned the first sod on construction works for the $21 million Melton Health and Community Services facility on Barries Road, Melton.

Melton Health and Community Services will be a new facility aimed at strengthening access to health, well-being and community services in Melton. The hub will bring together services from Djerriwarrh Health Services, Melbourne Health-Midwest Area Mental Health Service, MacKillop Family Services, cohealth and Odyssey House Victoria.

Djerriwarrh Health Services will be the lead tenant at the new centre and once completed, it will provide a range of adult health, children and family services, alcohol and drug support and aboriginal health services.
